The ideal candidates will have an Associate's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or Children & Families as well at least two years experience working with young children, preferably infants, be a team player & have a passion for early learning & a desire to make a difference.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with assistant teachers to plan & implement daily lesson plans & activities.
- Help create a safe & stimulating classroom environment for infants.
- Monitor & engage with children during playtime, meals & other daily routines.
- Provide individual & group support to children as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development & progress.
- Complete child assessments & participate in parent/teacher conferences.
Qualifications:
- Have an Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or Children & Families
- Have two+ years experience working with young children, preferably infants.
- Must qualify as a Group Supervisor with DHS.
- Able to pass state, federal & child abuse background checks.
- Be 18 years or older and able to work in the United States.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Be able to lift up to 40lbs, see, hear & sit on the floor with children.
- Must be patient, nurturing, and able to create a positive learning environment.
Position Overview:
- This is a full-time, year round position.
- Pay range starts at $17.50 up to $19.00 (relative to experience & education) per hour with a pay increase based on performance & education at the end of a 90 day probation period.
- Full-time staff also receive paid holidays, PTO, sick-time, reduced child care & more.
- Full-time staff work a four-day work week
