Job Title/Position: Financial Analyst

Job Description Relationships: Reports To: Director of Analytics

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
 We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly analytical Financial Analyst to join our analytics team. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting with financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication abilities.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, or a similar role. 
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check.

SKILLS REQUIRED: 
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel and financial software applications. 
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on effective issue resolution. 
  • Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask. 
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. 
  • Experience with Payroll and Benefits reconciliation a plus. 
  • Experience in Healthcare is a plus.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects. 
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis. 
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans. 
  • Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting. Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making. 
  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 
  • Supporting Payroll and Accounting teams, preparing Journal Entries as needed.
