Electrician Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Bauer Underground team members, including engineers, technicians, and project managers, to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with established electrical codes.
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers, circuit breakers, and switches, to identify hazards or defects.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout and installation of electrical systems.
- Install and connect wiring, conduits, and other electrical components.
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure longevity and reliability.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance and repair logs.
Electrician Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program or technical school is preferred.
- Valid electrician license issued by the state of Nebraska.
- Proof of bonded and insured status.
- Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in the construction or utilities industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in various weather conditions and environments.
- Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
