Job Title: Marine Electrician

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Electrician to join our team at Shipyard Staffing LLC. As a Marine Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems on marine vessels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems on marine vessels, including generators, motors, and control systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical system faults and malfunctions.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting electrical equipment.
  • Collaborate with other shipyard personnel to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
  • Comply with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • 6 years of experience in electrical installation and repair, preferably in a marine environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical theory and circuit analysis.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:

The work environment will vary depending on the specific job requirements. You may work on a ship, in a shipyard, or in a workshop. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You will also be required to climb ladders and work at heights.
