About the Role:
As a Well Logging Specialist at our offshore operations, you will be at the forefront of recording critical information about sub-surface geological formations. Operating under general supervision, you'll handle both surface and downhole well logging equipment, utilizing advanced technologies such as electric, nuclear, and sonic tools, alongside pressure control equipment. This position offers a unique blend of technical expertise, customer interaction, and the potential for significant professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Operate surface and downhole well logging and pressure control equipment to gather data on sub-surface geologic formations.
  • Service Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert for specific well-logging services like Memory Production Logging and Selective Formation Testing, among others, often operating solo on projects.
  • Customer Engagement: Obtain critical service work information from clients to tailor operations effectively. Manage communication with customers regarding service progress, invoicing, and service irregularities.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct rigorous pre and post-operation inspections, maintenance, and preventative care for all well-logging equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and training to newer team members, fostering a culture of learning and safety.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma (or equivalent) and at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of well logging operations.
  • Certifications: Valid driver’s license for commercial equipment as required. Optional but beneficial certifications include Well Control Accreditation and water survival training.
  • Skills: Effective communication, basic mathematical and computer skills, and a solid understanding of HMS standards and guidelines for PSL personnel.
  • Safety and Quality Commitment: A strong advocate for safety and environmental consciousness, adhering to all HSE regulations and actively participating in quality improvement processes.
