Norsan Media busca un On-Air Personality (Locutor/a) dinámico para nuestra emisora Romántica 105.3 FM. Esta marca se centra principalmente en música romántica. Esta persona apoyará nuestro objetivo de conectar con los corazones de nuestro público en Austin, TX (Modalidad Presencial). 
Como un On-Air Personality, pueden ser utilizados varios formatos y una amplia gama de equipos, tales como micrófonos, computadoras, consolas, y otro equipo de producción. Las responsabilidades incluyen seguir los planos de estrategia de marca alineadas por el Programador de Radio.Al mismo tiempo, las responsabilidades incluyen proveer un flujo entretenido y natural a la hora de hablar en vivo; interactuar con la audiencia a través de llamadas telefónicas, correos electrónicos, textos, medios de comunicación social; y entre otras tareas. Todas las responsabilidades y actividades deben estar siempre en consonancia con el público objetivo y la voz de la marca.

FUNCIONES Y RESPONSABILIDADES:
  • Crear o producir contenidos para programación, espectáculos, campañas promocionales u otras operaciones que se soliciten.
  • Compartir y participar en las redes sociales de la empresa y crear contenidos para el sitio web.
  • Realizar diversas tareas administrativas relacionadas a la programación.
  • Entretener a nuestro público objetivo con la lista de reproducción de la emisora, al tiempo que se informa al contenido adecuado a la marca. Proporcionar actualizaciones de noticias, informes de tráfico y condiciones meteorológicas para los oyentes.
  • Completar entrevistas con personalidades del mundo del entretenimiento u otras personas influyentes, fomentar las solicitudes por parte de la audiencia y gestionar los concursos promocionales.
  • Presentar música nueva e informar sobre la que se ha reproducido previamente.
  • Hacer apariciones personales en actividades promocionales y otros eventos de la radio.
  • Seguir el calendario de redes sociales plantado por el departamento de Marketing, el Programador de la Radio y otros departamentos o partes interesadas.
  • Otras responsabilidades como requeridos por el Programador de la Radio.
CUALIFICACIONES:
  • Estar actualmente residiendo en Austin, Texas.
  • Preferiblemente contar con experiencia de locución o animación en público.
  • Experiencia con Simian, AudioAudition and programas Microsoft es preferible. 
  • Buen sentido del humor; creativo.
  • Proactivo y automotivado.
  • Puntual.
  • Excelente pronunciación y voz agradable con flexibilidad y conocimiento de varios géneros musicales.
  • Pasión y conocimiento de la música latina contemporánea para adultos; otro género musical en español es preferido.
  • Tener una buena claridad de pronunciación del idioma español.
  • Capacidad para trabajar en horarios irregulares, días festivos o fines de semanas.
  • Preferiblemente bilingüe (español e inglés).
  • Poder trabajar los fines de semana y fuera del horario comercial según sea necesario.
  • Residir en la ciudad de Austin.
  • Tener autorización para trabajar legalmente dentro de los Estados Unidos.

Norsan Media is looking for a dynamic On-Air Personality for our radio station Romántica 105.3 FM. This brand focuses primarily on romantic music. This person will support our goal of connecting with the hearts of our audience in Austin, TX (On-Air Personality).

As an On-Air Personality, various formats and a wide range of equipment such as microphones, computers, consoles, and other production equipment may be utilized. Responsibilities include following the brand strategy plans aligned by the Radio Programmer; providing an entertaining and natural flow when speaking live; interacting with the audience through phone calls, emails, texts, social media; and among other tasks. All responsibilities and activities must always be aligned with the target audience and brand voice.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Create or produce content for programming, shows, promotional campaigns or other operations as requested.
  • Share and participate in the company's social networks and create content for the website.
  • Perform various administrative tasks related to programming.
  • Entertain our target audience with the station's playlist while informing brand-appropriate content. Provide news updates, traffic reports and weather conditions for listeners.
  • Complete interviews with entertainment personalities or other influencers, encourage audience requests and manage promotional contests.
  • Introduce new music and report on previously played music.
  • Make personal appearances at promotional activities and other radio events.
  • Follow the social media calendar planted by the Marketing department, Radio Programmer and other departments or interested parties.
  • Other responsibilities as required by the Radio Scheduler.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • To be currently living Austin, Texas.
  • Public speaking or public speaking experience preferred.
  • Experience with Simian, AudioAudition and Microsoft programs is preferred. 
  • Good sense of humor; creative.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
  • Punctual.
  • Excellent pronunciation and pleasant voice with flexibility and knowledge of various musical genres.
  • Passion and knowledge of adult contemporary Latin music; other Spanish music genre is preferred.
  • Have good clarity of pronunciation of the Spanish language.
  • Ability to work irregular hours, holidays or weekends.
  • Preferably bilingual (Spanish and English).
  • Be able to work weekends and after hours as needed.
  • Residency in the City of Austin.
  • Have authorization to work legally within the United States.
