Who are we?We’re a rapidly growing team in the Silicon Valley construction space located in Campbell, California. We have a 30+ year legacy in construction and our sole focus is on making a positive impact on the California housing crisis. At Acton, we design, navigate, and build premium, high quality accessory dwelling units (ADUs), also known as backyard homes or granny flats.
Everyone of our ADUs is designed and built to a high standard, so homeowners are left with a long-term, high quality investment that could serve their community for multiple generations.
These ADUs help create accessible housing options for thousands across the Bay Area, while positively impacting people’s lives.

The RoleYou’ll learn our proven, consultative sales approach and help guide people to make decisions, based on their personal needs and motivations. We’re not pushy, we help people get what they need. You might be the perfect fit for our team if:

An Acton ADU Sales Representative works collaboratively with customers to deeply understand customers needs, align them with the best solution Acton ADU has to offer, and help support them through the pre-construction process.
A proven record of success in meeting customer expectations is essential, as well as the ability to properly communicate and set expectations with the pre-construction team.
The most successful candidate will be organized, self-motivated, and have strong relationship and referral building skills.
Expectations:
- You will invest heavily in learning our product offerings, procedures, tools, and overall cultural approach.
- You will outline a prospecting plan to build networks with new prospective customers as well as partners that can provide introductions.
- You will follow the Acton ADU playbook to deliver high quality service to our customers.
- You will travel locally to meet with customers at their homes to learn about their needs and determine solutions that meet those needs.
Skills:We provide extensive professional sales training, so you can sell consultatively with integrity. No arm-twisting sales techniques please. We have a proven system that works, so you simply need to follow our process.
- Motivated, intelligent, want to succeed and build a career, open to feedback and training
- Successful track record in sales and customer satisfaction
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed
- Proficiency with technology (Slack, Hubspot, MS Office, Google Drive, etc.)
- Hubspot experience or applicable CRM experience
- Familiarity with team communication tools like Slack
- Sandler Sales Training a plus

About Acton ADU:
Stan Acton has been a builder since he was 10 years old. It began the day he broke his father’s wooden mallet.
