Prequel is seeking candidates for a Human Resources Assistant, Total Rewards position with a flagship financial services company in the greater Pittsburgh area. This is a long term 16-month contract position and includes:

  • W2 hourly pay rate in range of $22-$27 per hour, depending on experience
  • Hybrid working model (2 days WFH, 3 days onsite in downtown Pittsburgh)
  • Excellent Health Benefits Starting Day 1 of employment
  • 401k with matching 
  • 8:30am-5pm workday, Monday through Friday
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS: 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year experience working in a professional office environment required, 2 years of experience in human resources administration preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and ability to mail merge documents

MAJOR DUTIES:
  • Prepare and distribute bonus eligibility, nomination and determination communications (bonus plan documents, scorecards)
  • Coordinate the receipt and review of performance appraisals to ensure compliance with company guidelines.  Work with management and payroll to ensure that performance appraisals are conducted and processed on a timely basis.
  • Prepare Portfolio Manager compensation disclosure statements.
  • Prepare and distribute new hire and termination benefit-related communications.
  • Prepare and distribute benefit-related required notices.
  • Produce, prepare and route Change Of Status Forms for approval.
  • Update compensation control documents – job code updates, job descriptions, job family.
