Preventative Maintenance Tech

STARFLEET - a locally owned and operated family business looking for a Preventative Maintenance Tech to work on a fleet of Trucks and Industrial Equipment. It is a Full-Time position with some overtime. Preventative Maintenance Technicians are responsible for scheduled preventative maintenance to include basic engine, hydraulic system and transmission maintenance (oil and filter changes), brake adjustments and repair, tire repair and other basic mechanical tasks as required. 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Scheduled Maintenance and Repair of Semi-Tractors, Trailers, and Trucks.
  • Knowledge of engines, transmissions, suspensions, hydraulics, basic electrical troubleshooting, and tire repair.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience preferred.
  • CDL A or B license - Preferred.
  • Work weekends and be flexible.
  • Travel to the different job sites when needed.
  • Able to bend, push, pull and lift.
  • Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass background and drug screening.
