Title of Position: Executive Kitchen Manager
Job Description:The Executive Kitchen Manager oversees and leads the day-to-day operations in the back of the house. This includes managing labor costs and COGS, providing operational knowledge of kitchen equipment, and troubleshooting any problems. This role also ensures that all recipes are correctly adhered to, product storage is clean and organized, coolers are purged daily, and inventory is conducted properly. This role also provides important administrative duties such as scheduling labor, sending out purchase orders, and ensuring confidentiality policies are followed. Additionally, the Executive Kitchen Manager will oversee the training of staff, lead by example with a hands-on approach to shifts, conduct performance reviews, and provide honest feedback and coaching. Finally, they must ensure closing checklists and cleaning schedules are followed and maintained. All in all, the Executive Kitchen Manager is responsible for delivering a delicious food experience to our guests while adhering to brand standards and financial goals.

Qualifications:· The Executive Kitchen Manager must be able to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment and close 2-3 times a week, especially on busy weekend nights.· Understanding of COGs (cost of goods) and good business acumen is required for the Executive Kitchen Manager· The Executive Kitchen Manager must have strong leadership experience in a full-service restaurant as an executive chef or kitchen manager· Relevant certifications/credentials, such as ServSafe Manager and Food Handler/Alcohol Server is required.· The Executive Kitchen Manager must have excellent knife skills and knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
