Position Overview: 

We are thrilled to announce that our firm is expanding its presence in family law. As part of our growth, we are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Financial Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial records, providing administrative support, and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office space.
  • Handle photocopying and filing of documents.
  • Assist the receptionist with answering calls and ensuring messages are relayed promptly.
  • Send retainers to clients and set up payment plans as necessary.
  • Schedule appointments with potential new clients and update calendars accordingly.
  • Provide administrative support to team members as needed.
  • Manage financial records using QuickBooks and Excel, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or financial administration, with excellent proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.
  •  Financial reporting skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and accounting software.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
