Position Summary:
The Governance Analyst provides ERP governance & requirements management support to the Department of the Navy (DON).

**Position contingent upon award of contract, government acceptance of candidate, and positive adjudication of government investigation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Governance and Compliance:
  • Develop and maintain governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulations and organizational standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to governance standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the Navy ERP system.

Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with Navy personnel, government officials, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide governance solutions.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on governance objectives.
  • Coordinate with clients at various levels, from working-level personnel to SES-level and above.

Data Management and Reporting:
  • Ensure the integrity and security of data within the Navy ERP system.
  • Develop and generate reports to provide insights into governance, compliance, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Process Improvement:
  • Lead initiatives to streamline governance processes and enhance system efficiency.
  • Implement best practices for ERP governance and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Provide training and support to users on governance-related processes and tools.

Risk Management:
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with ERP governance.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for risk reduction.

Project Management:
  • Manage and oversee governance-related projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Prepare and present project status updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Technical Proficiency:
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of SAP ERP systems, specifically Navy ERP.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in ERP technologies and governance practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.

Education & Experience Requirements

Education:Bachelor's (Additional 2 years of relevant experience may substitute for degree requirement).

Experience:
  • Active Secret DoD Security Clearance (preferred, not required. Candidate must be clearable at the Secret level)
  • One (1) to nine (9) years of relevant experience
  • MS Office Suite - Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, and Excel (Preferred)
  • Navy ERP (Preferred), DoD SAP Based Financial Systems (Preferred)
