Lead Day Porter Qualifications:
- Janitorial experience preferred.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good customer service skills.
Lead Day Porter General function:
- Responsible for submitting Daily Activity Reports (DAR) to property management, multiple times throughout shift.
- Responsible for allowing and granting access to specific portions of the property including but not limited to roof access ladders, fire riser rooms, electrical rooms, etc.
- Will observe and report incidents throughout shift and report on the DAR.
- Remove and/or clean up any debris or soil such as stickers, chewing gum, coffee spills, graffiti, etc.
- Continuously walk the property to inspect all public areas for cleanliness.
- Notify the supervisor in case there is a need for repairs.
- Perform patrols of the perimeter, parking lot and surrounding areas.
The Ideal Day Porter:
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to identify and manage priorities.
- Ability to complete the physical requirements of the job.
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of organization, property managers, supervisor and tenats.
