Lead Before and After School Teacher

Lead Teacher for Before and After School program

Qualifications:
  • Pass a Level II background screening. 
  • Must work the same hours Mon. thru Fri. 
  • 45 hour State mandated training must be completed.
  • Staff credentials (CDA or equal) or degree in early childhood education.
  • Have a completed physical or a negative TB test completed upon starting (every 2 years). 
  • Pediatric CPR and 1st aid certification. (must keep current)
  • Be able to lift at least 40 pounds. 
  • Stay positive. 
  • Bonus if you have your Florida CDL class C or equal with passenger endorsement.

Responsibilities and Duties: 
  • Plan and implement age appropriate activities.
  • Turn in complete lesson plans weekly.
  • Work the same schedule hours every day (Monday-Friday) and be reliable. 
  • Be able to move around the majority of the day. 
  • Perform all activities with children such as jumping, dancing, walking, and running. 
  • Respond quickly and appropriately to children's needs. 
  • Be able to sit on the floor with the children with the agility to change position quickly. 
  • Be flexible and willing to work as a team.
