Job Purpose:

As a Before and After Care Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and pleasant atmosphere in the cafeteria, playground, and other designated areas. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and assist students during authorized before or after school programs, adhering to CSUSA policy and school procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reflect a professional manner and provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Resolve conflicts with children and parents in a firm but friendly manner.
  • Monitor students and observe who enters and leaves the child care area.
  • Assist students with homework and provide support with academic tasks.
  • Pass out snacks and engage in play with students on the playground.
  • Tutor and assist students with homework, promoting academic growth and development.
  • Report to the Director of the Before and After Care Program and the school principal.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or higher education credential.
  • Previous experience as a daycare assistant or summer camp counselor is preferred.
  • A commitment to company values and a genuine liking for children.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
