Business Manager

Handcrafted Wines is seeking a qualified Business Manager for our wine and spirits distributor located in Lenexa, KS.  This individual will work closely with supply chain management, logistics, customers, sales team, warehouse team, delivery team, and will manage day to day operations to help maintain a high level of service across all departments.

A successful candidate will be professional, self-motivated, organized, and hard working. This position offers an excellent opportunity with a fast-growing company. 

Main areas of responsibility include:
  •  Kansas ABC compliance and reporting
  •  Payroll
  •  A/P
  •  Supervision of A/R
  •  Banking
  •  Inventory management
  •  Managing freight and logistics (booking delivery for in-bound containers, tracking shipments, coordinating with suppliers and carriers to ensure prompt delivery)
  •  Customer service (order taking, inputting, and fulfillment) 
  •  Retail pricing management and submissions
  •  Office and human resources management
  •  Managing supplier relationships (DA reporting, billbacks, allocations, etc…)
  •  Tracking pricing and depletions, working with the sales manager to implement post-offs and closeouts
  •  Support the warehouse manager and team
  •  Other duties as required

Qualifications:
  •  Minimum 2 years experience in an office management or business management role
  •  Microsoft Office Suite proficient (excel proficiency is required)
  •  Adobe Suite experience is helpful
  •  Experience with accounting / CRM software such as Quickbooks, NetSuite, or Encompass is desirable
  •  Excellent communication and organizational skills
  •  Detail oriented with strong follow-through
  •  Must possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  •  Handle confidential information with complete integrity
  •  Material handling experience preferred
