Outside Sales Representative

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an ambitious Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic organization and help expand our reach.
Job Summary:
The Outside Sales Representative at Chet's Rent-All will be responsible for driving revenue growth by securing new business opportunities and nurturing existing customer relationships. This role requires a proactive sales approach, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of our products and the rental equipment market. Your goal will be to ensure that Chet's Rent-All remains the preferred choice for rental equipment needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify and target potential customers, leading to increased revenue growth.
- Conduct cold calls and in-person visits to potential clients, presenting our products and services to secure new business accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions that exceed their expectations.
- Work closely with the store managers and rental coordinators to ensure that customer orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and new product offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
- Participate in local and regional trade shows, networking events, and other industry-related activities to promote Chet's Rent-All and generate leads.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, market feedback, and strategic recommendations to management.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in rental sales, ideally with experience in rental equipment or related industries.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to connect with customers and close deals.
- Initiative-taking with a results-driven approach and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- The ability and willingness to learn our internal operating system. And utilize Rouse Analytics.
- Valid Michigan Chauffeur driver’s license and ability to travel within the designated sales territory.
