This individual is responsible for supervising a team of front desk receptionists. The Front Desk Supervisor assesses operational needs and determines staffing needs. They find and train suitable candidates and manage their day-to-day activities. They create daily work schedules, approve time off requests and provide regular feedback.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for setting the temperature of the office and providing an inclusive, welcoming environment for all patients AND staff. Providing a 5-Star Customer Service experience should be the driving force of this individual followed by a bent towards meticulous details. Providing a seamless check-in, check-out process ensuring verification of insurance and collection of co-pays.
ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS:This role is responsible for managing daily administrative tasks. This involves making sure that phones are promptly answered by knowledgeable professionals; correspondence with patients is kept within a reasonable time frame; vendors arrive on schedule, are greeted and shown to their respective delivery areas; mail is distributed; as well as providing assistance to their team or stepping in to fill in for an employee who is on break or has failed to show up for work.
