Position Summary
The National Account Manager assists in managing and expanding relationships with national-level accounts to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
- Identifies and secures profitable revenue within the assigned geographic area.
- Creates strategies to develop new accounts and increase revenue.
- Negotiates terms and conditions, pricing, and contractual agreements with clients.
- Provides accurate sales forecasts and monitors progress against targets.
- Collaborates with business partners to address client needs and resolve issues.
- Stays informed with industry trends and market conditions.
- Generates and analyzes sales reports to evaluate performance.
- Proactively identifies new business opportunities within existing and potential client accounts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- 7+ years of LTL sales experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales tools.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Previous experience in a National Account role
