Salary: $20-24 hr
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal operation and safety within our facility.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
  • Inspect and assess equipment for safety and efficiency
  • Utilize welding and machining skills to repair metal components
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs
  • Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime
  • Follow blueprints and technical drawings to complete tasks
  • Calibrate and maintain precision measurement tools
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
  • Must have knowledge of plastic or packaging manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Familiarity with welding equipment and techniques
  • Experience with machinery operation and maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and safety
  • Relevant technical certifications are a plus
