Talent Acquisition Lead - International Recruitment

Position Title: Talent Acquisition Lead
Location: UK – 100% Remote
Salary: Depending on Experience + Performance-based Bonus
Working Rhythm: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30, with flexibility needed for global time zones and growth initiatives.
Contract Type: Permanent Full-Time
Reporting To: Head of People
Travel: Up to 10% depending on strategic planning or team-building initiatives
Start Date: As soon as Possible

As Talent Acquisition Lead at Nexford University, you’ll lead the charge in transforming our global recruitment process to deliver exceptional hires. What You'll Be Owning
  • Deliver hires within 30 days or less by building proactive pipelines, addressing bottlenecks, and streamlining workflows for efficiency.
  • Identify and secure high-potential candidates for critical roles through advanced sourcing techniques, talent mapping, and market research.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements, create detailed candidate personas, and develop strategic interview and assessment frameworks.
  • Manage and refine recruitment pipelines for mid-to-senior roles across global markets, ensuring a consistent flow of top-tier candidates.
  • Provide line management and mentorship to the Talent Resourcer, ensuring effective task delegation, coaching, and alignment with recruitment objectives.
  • Strategize and execute employer branding initiatives to amplify Nexford’s visibility in competitive markets and position the company as an employer of choice.
  • Take full accountability for delivering an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring timely feedback and personalized engagement throughout the process.
  • Use recruitment metrics and market insights to refine processes, influence hiring strategies, and align with Nexford’s growth and strategic goals.
Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of recruitment experience, with a proven track record in international hiring across diverse markets.
  • Start-up experience in EdTech, SaaS, or Series A-D tech companies, thriving in high-growth and fast-paced environments.
  • Expertise in proactive sourcing, including headhunting, Boolean searches, and talent mapping for senior and critical roles.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS); familiarity with BambooHR and TestGorilla is advantageous.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, ensuring professionalism in job postings, candidate communications, and every stage of the recruitment process.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and candidates alike.
  • Cultural awareness and adaptability, tailoring recruitment strategies to align with regional nuances and global hiring needs.
