Imagine having access to trauma-informed behavioral health services in real time or providing coordinated care continuum Join Eliot and get to work alongside our talented and dedicated staff on our child teams specializing in housing navigation, recovery coaching, case management,peer supports and other specialized stabilization services.The CBHC Pediatric Nurse Manager will provide evidence based treatment as part of a multidisciplinary child team. Working with others on the CBHC child team, including a Nurse Practitioner, Clinicians, Family Partners, and managers, you will deliver solution-focused interventions and treatment for clients and families.Qualifications: Licensed registered nurse in Massachusetts with at least a master’s degree, bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree in nursing with at least 2 years of experience working with children/ adolescents with behavioral and mental health concerns. Must have at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory capacity. Must have the ability to work on a team that provides flexible community-based services.ResponsibilitiesDirect the training and supervision of nursing interns with best practices and strategies to meet identified paperwork targets, Quality Metrics goals, CBHC initiatives, and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).Supervise medical specialist and/or staff assigned in providing medical/psychiatric supports, intervention, and services.Act as a medical preceptor by providing coaching, education and consultation to the entire CBHC child team.Complete billable service notes related to all contacts with individuals and collaterals on the day of contact and supervise staff in the completion of documentation. Ensure that documentation is written is measurable, observable, objective and utilizes clinical terms.Supervises staff in all third-party policies related to documentation and policies related to billing are being followed by all medical staff.Direct oversight for establishing and maintaining working relationships with community medical providers, PCPs, and specialty service providers in order to assist with coordinating medical care for clients. Assist with acting as a liaison to communicate medical issues and concerns to medical providers and ensuring the treatment team understands those concerns.Provide side by side interventions to clients that focus on problem solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement. This shall include outreaching families of consumers when they have missed appointments and attempts at providing side by side sessions at times convenient for the consumer and their family.Participate in daily Team Huddles and Team Meetings.Collaborate with Clinical staff, Care Managers, Prescriber(s) and other care team members around issues related to member care.Complete service notes related to all contacts with individuals and collaterals on the day of contact. Ensure that documentation is written as measurable, observable, objective and utilizes clinical terms.Responsible for facilitating and/or co-facilitate group therapies.Collaborate with the Leadership team in the development and/or identification of trainings, in-services, continued education for staff. As needed/As appropriate, lead in-services directed at medical/psychiatric interventions, evidenced based practices, and responding to the needs of enrollees.Respect diversity of others by demonstrating and modeling cultural awareness and sensitivity at all times.
