About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Mass General Brigham.

Job Description

The Permanent Charge Nurse will oversee daily operations in the Operating Room, collaborating with the Nursing Manager to plan and implement patient care. This role involves assigning staff, managing patient flow, and making shift-to-shift decisions regarding staffing. The Charge Nurse will also participate in developing clinical standards, evaluating outcomes, and implementing improvement initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nursing professional to take on a leadership role, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience
  • Current license to practice as a RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Specialty certification in a relevant clinical area (preferred)
