The product marketing team works on creating compelling positioning and marketing content to support product launches and campaigns that will help customers do more with generative AI. We look for ways to measure the impact of our work on service adoptions. We transition from working on strategic plans or creative ideation to detailed execution, multiple times per day. We enjoy supporting a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization.
This role has preference to sit in Seattle, WA but is also open to Boston, MA and Santa Clara, CA. Relocation offered to these locations only from within the USA.
Key job responsibilities- You will be part of the team responsible for defining our positioning and messaging to customers who are deploying generative AI with Amazon SageMaker.
- You will create compelling content to help customers understand the use cases and value propositions, and build the right programs to increase customer engagement and service adoption.
- You will help define the strategy for how we reach our customers as they build using Amazon SageMaker.
- You will work with AWS customers to understand how they are deploying Amazon SageMaker to transform their practices.
- You will collaborate closely with various teams to identify strategic customers and develop game-changing references.
- You will get to work on a rapidly growing business and have a big impact every day.
- Drive messaging and positioning for Amazon SageMaker and related services.
- Craft and develop audience-specific messages, content, and tools (e.g., eBooks, presentations, whitepapers, etc.).
- Develop and execute breakthrough product marketing activities.
- Partner with other marketing teams to drive and execute on global marketing initiatives.
- Work effectively across AWS with groups such as product, digital marketing, and sales.
- Develop and launch training and promotions to increase adoption of products.
- Continuously measure and optimize product marketing initiatives.
- Lead a team of marketers focused on developing the best materials to win in the marketplace.
- 7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- 7+ years of product marketing experience specifically in software or technical domain with 2+ years focused on AI/ML domain
- Experience using SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
