Field Material Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Field Material Coordinator to join our Operations team. This position emphasizes both the field aspect (material preparation, equipment staging, and transportation) and the organizational side (record keeping, fleet vehicles, tool checkout program). In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth execution of field installations. Your primary responsibilities will include:



Summary of Accountabilities:


  • Material Preparation: Kitting all necessary materials required for field installations once the pack down process is complete. This includes verifying quantities, quality, and ensuring all components are ready for use.
  • Equipment Staging: Preparing and staging equipment for pickup, ensuring everything is ready and in place when the project is scheduled for installation. This involves coordinating with the installation team to understand their needs and timelines.
  • Transportation: Operating the company box truck to load and deliver equipment to various installation sites, ensuring timely and safe delivery. You will also be responsible for maintaining the vehicle in good working condition.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of equipment and materials to ensure accountability and efficiency. This includes updating inventory systems, tracking usage, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Fleet Vehicles Management: Overseeing the maintenance and scheduling of fleet vehicles to ensure they are available and in good condition for field operations.
  • Tool Checkout Program: Managing the tool checkout program, ensuring tools are available, in good condition, and returned on time. This includes tracking tool usage and coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in field operations or logistics.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate and maintain a box truck and other field equipment.
  • Excellent record-keeping and inventory management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
