Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to oversee the inspection process at its state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, AZ.

The successful candidate will supervise employees and workload for Final, Receiving and Gage Lab Inspection, reporting throughput and improving overall departmental procedures in support of Inspection and critical customers.

The key responsibilities of the Quality Control Supervisor include:

  • Conducting quality audits when appropriate and assigned.
  • Leading process documentation and improvements in relation to inspection and quality.
  • Maintaining employee time-keeping and vacation schedules, and scheduling overtime as required by workload.
  • Assigning work to hourly inspectors.
  • Working with the Quality Engineering team regarding updates and new inspection routine releases to meet customer requirements.
  • Learning all aspects of inspection work, including understanding test equipment and inspection requirements.
  • Ensuring delegated sources are available per customer contracts, supporting and scheduling training and certifications.
  • Overseeing inspector training and annual quality training as required by the Quality Management System.

The Quality Control Supervisor will coordinate action items with quality engineers and process engineers, manufacturing, and all other required resources to satisfy customer needs.

Key skills and qualities of a Quality Control Supervisor at Amphenol Aerospace Operations include:

  • Knowledge of AS9100 Business Management System.
  • Working knowledge of the Quality Manual, military specifications, ITAR, and the Quality system.
