Tax Manager - Global Income Tax

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Income Tax Manager to oversee and manage our international income tax compliance and planning activities. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our global tax strategies while maintaining compliance with international tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Global Tax Compliance:

Oversee and manage the preparation and review of global income tax returns, including compliance with local regulations in various jurisdictions.

Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and payment of taxes.

  • Tax Planning and Strategy:

Develop and implement global tax planning strategies to optimize the company's tax position and minimize tax liabilities.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate the tax implications of business decisions, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.

  • International Tax Reporting:

Prepare and review global income tax provisions for financial reporting purposes in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.

Ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax-related information in financial statements and regulatory filings.

  • Transfer Pricing:

Oversee and manage transfer pricing policies and documentation to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

Coordinate with external advisors to address transfer pricing issues and disputes.

  • Regulatory and Policy Monitoring:

Stay current with changes in international tax laws and regulations, and assess their impact on the company's tax position.

Advise senior management on potential tax risks and opportunities arising from legislative changes.

  • Audit and Documentation:

Manage tax audits and disputes with tax authorities, including preparation of documentation and responses.

Ensure that tax records and documentation are maintained in accordance with legal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field; advanced degree or CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in international tax, with a focus on multinational corporations.
  • Strong knowledge of global tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in managing complex tax structures and transfer pricing.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
