Tax Office Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Team Leader to join our team at H&R Block. As an Associate Team Leader, you will play a critical role in supporting our retail office during tax season, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and that our office operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Multi-Unit Team Leader in overseeing the daily operations of the tax office, including scheduling, client service, and quality control.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a customer-centric mindset and strong communication skills to ensure that all tax office associates are equipped to deliver outstanding client experiences.
  • Execute and hold associates accountable to Service Standards execution and client service experience, with escalation to the Multi-Unit Team Leader and District General Manager as necessary.
  • Serve as the point of contact for onsite escalated client service concerns, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
  • Lead daily activities to ensure that all tax office associates are scheduled, and work is completed according to deadlines, with attention to quality standards, priorities, and overall goals.
  • Lead daily huddles and communicate essential information to office associates, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned with the office's objectives.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in customer service or a similar role, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to plan and manage day-to-day office operations, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Customer-centric mindset and strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with associates and clients at all levels.
  • Computer proficiency with the ability to use MS Office, with a focus on productivity and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a strong focus on self-motivation and accountability.
  • Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional results, with a focus on continuous improvement and growth.
