Position Summary:

As the Chief Financial Officer, you will have a significant impact on shaping our organization's financial future. Collaborating closely with the CEO and senior leadership, you will develop and execute financial strategies that align with our mission. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Ensure the organization's financial health while fostering growth and efficiency.
- Develop and execute financial strategies that align with our mission and goals.
- Lead the annual budgeting process in partnership with leadership.
- Provide timely financial analysis and support to the executive team and Board of Directors.

Accounting, Financial, and Risk Management:
- Oversee all accounting operations to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Implement best practices for fiscal management and operation workflows.
- Manage cash flow effectively to meet short- and long-term needs.
- Safeguard organizational assets through internal controls and oversight of insurance policies.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Establish financial benchmarks and develop performance measurement dashboards.
- Prepare reports for Board meetings ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage annual audits and ensure timely filing of required tax documents.

Qualifications and Personal Characteristics:

- Genuine commitment to our mission of supporting seniors.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of generating new revenue streams.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial management with at least 5 years of experience in similar roles.
- Proven ability in staff development and performance management.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
- 5-7 years of progressive managerial experience in accounting or finance, including at least 2 years as a CFO.
- Familiarity with nonprofit accounting and financial compliance preferred.
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and familiarity with Salesforce desired.
- Background check and physical assessment required.

Salary and Benefits:

- Annual salary ranging from $210k - $245k based on experience.
- Full-time position with comprehensive benefits, including various insurance coverage.
- 403(b) plan with a 3% discretionary contribution for eligible employees.
- Vacation accrual starting at 15 days with 10 paid holidays per year.
