Qualifications
All competitive candidates for SES positions with the federal government must demonstrate leadership experience indicative of senior executive level management capability. To meet the qualification requirements for this position, you must show in your resume that you possess the six Fundamental Competencies, the five Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs), and the Professional/Technical Qualifications (PTQs) listed below. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
You must have one year of specialized experience which is directly related to the position, and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the position, including senior-level leadership experience with providing supervisory direction to an organization providing technical strategy and implementation, programmatic, and data modernization guidance for the organization's goals, objectives, and plans.

PROFESSIONAL/TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (PTQs)
- Ability to lead, manage, and coordinate complex technical implementation and programmatic efforts for the CIO, including overseeing the execution of public health data strategy milestones.
- Highly specialized, cross-cutting experience with public health data and policy collaborating with jurisdictional and private partners and intergovernmental affairs.
- Demonstrates knowledge of technical leadership serving as an advisor to the Director to bring about data modernization change to meet organizational goals.
