We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Senior Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek new sales opportunities. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Service and Product Development departments) to improve the entire customer experience. If you are familiar with account management software (CRM), have a flair for client communication, and understand consumer behavior, we’d like to meet you. Ideally, candidates for this role will know how to meet ambitious individual and team-wide sales quotas. This position is San Francisco, CA based.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters and ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives;
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships and develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas;
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits;
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) and prepare reports on account status;
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory and assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Solid experience in sales, preferably in technology consulting, IT squad allocation, and complex technology projects;
  • Strong knowledge in commercial negotiation of technology projects and services, as well as RFP negotiation in enterprise clients;
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with C-Level executives;
  • Results-oriented and goal-focused, with proactivity, initiative, and problem-solving ability;
  • Knowledge of market CRM systems.

Avenue Code discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. A reasonable estimate of the current range for US Based Account Manager is $90,000 USD to $110,000 USD per year.
