Panalgo's mission is to improve healthcare through innovative analytics. Our team has built a next-generation analytics platform, Instant Health Data (IHD), to bring researchers together to generate insights into improving population health, quality of care, and managing costs.
Now, Panalgo is proud to be a part of Norstella, an organization that consists of market-leading pharmaceutical solutions providers united under one goal: to improve patient access to life-saving therapies. Within this organization, Panalgo plays a key role in helping clinical and commercial stakeholders understand the real-world implications of payer and prescriber behavior – and helping clients connect the dots from pipeline to patient.
The Role:
As Director of Product Marketing, you are responsible for crafting compelling messaging and positioning for our products, ensuring alignment with market needs and driving successful go-to-market strategies. This team collaborates closely with product, GTM, sales, and other cross-functional teams to achieve our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Complete a detailed product-market fit analysis and competitive mapping, resulting in a defined competitive advantage and increased market share.
- Create significant uplift in product opportunity identification and capture through comprehensive market intelligence efforts.
- Develop core product metrics in partnership with the product team to craft product marketing KPIs.
- Ensure collaboration with the demand generation, sales, operations, and customer success teams to drive pipeline acceleration with product launches and sustaining product motions.
- Lead the development of crisp product messaging and positioning (including product value propositions) for audiences, ICPs, and personas to drive the overall product marketing strategy and emphasize differentiation and innovation.
- Integrate portfolio product marketing approaches vs. a series of linear launches.
- Develop customer segmentation against the backdrop of market trends and competitive landscape, to define competitive advantage or right to win.
- Own product-market fit analysis, competitive mapping/analysis, and market intelligence.
- Use customer and market insights to quantify the product opportunity.
- Work with product strategy leads on market intelligence initiatives to sharpen ‘where to play’ and ‘how to win’ decisions.
- Lead launches across all tiers, from new product introductions to customer retention upgrades.
- Partner with the GTM team on launch design and evolutions for launch tiers, and execution.
- Review and refine critical GTM assets including product sheets, high-priority event content specific to product marketing, pitch decks, etc.
- Use performance data, best practices and trends to make adjustments to GTM assets as needed to encourage engagement and impact.
- Partner with sales strategy on themes/plays in market.
- Partner with the demand gen team to collaborate on campaign strategy and messaging that aligns with value propositions.
- Present at company-led customer events, internal events such as kickoffs, and industry conferences/panels.
- Deploy impactful project planning and prioritization in conjunction with the wider marketing team that integrates product roadmap, GTM and demand gen requirements for launches.
- Evaluate and decide what product marketing investments are needed for success, in both deliverables and resourcing.
- Build KPIs for product marketing’s impact on the organization, as well as launch KPIs, to measure and report on the performance of all product marketing deliverables and how they integrate into corporate KPIs.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing.
- Proven experience in product marketing, with a track record of driving successful product launches and customer adoption.
- Experience working in a marketing function that serves healthcare, life sciences, or health tech industries.
- Prior experience developing product messaging and positioning aligned with market needs that resonates with target audiences.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Commercial and Technical teams.
- Experience in portfolio product marketing and working with demand generation, GTM, and sales teams.
