movement has been built. In the last four years we’ve quadrupled the size of the company,

and we need your help managing the grow and getting to the next level of logistics

excellence. Currently 70% of our business is parcel DTC sales from our website to

consumers, and 30% is B2B LTL and FTL commercial carrier business. Over the next 3

years our goal is to reverse those percentages.


The Job:

Warehouse Managers lead their team by setting productivity goals, setting up logical

organization systems, and creating communication systems within the warehouse and

adjacent departments. They direct shipments and resolve logistical challenges by

communicating with clients, transportation providers, manufacturers and suppliers.

Warehouse Managers determine standards for quality control and inspect inventory and

packaging before sending orders to the next location. They strategize about inventory

volumes and warehouse capacity to maximize productivity, rearranging shipments for

improved efficiency while allowing warehouse workers to easily navigate between aisles.

Warehouse Managers track the supply chain to dispatch employees according to the

company timeline. They create reports and graphs disseminating important information.

They maintain the facility to federal, state, and local regulatory and safety standards.


100% of your time will support Dakota Lithium. As a position that works full-time on

premises (not remote), it requires someone who takes initiative, can prioritize work, and

gets things done. A bias towards action, rolling up your sleeves, and moving fast while

nailing the details that matter.


The Team:

You would report directly to the COO and would be managing the entire warehouse and

logistics operation. The warehouse staff varies between 15-20 employees depending on

the season. You would work closely and build solid relationships with managers in sales,

purchasing, customer support, and marketing.


Main Job Functions:


• Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of

warehouse equipment

• Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to

order and restock

• Experience using inventory management software and other enterprise computer

applications. Microsoft Excel proficiency mandatory, ability to create spreadsheets,

mine and organize data, and create reports.

• Facilities Management – ensuring the building, equipment, and environment

remain in safe operating order, meeting federal, state, and local safety standards

• Hiring, training, and mentoring warehouse employees.

• Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse

• Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and

other team leads

• Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees

• Keep up-to-date on the latest federal, state, and city safety, fire, and hazmat

regulations

 Keep up to date on shipping regulations

 Maintain and nurture business relationships with shippers

 Collaborate with the Purchasing Department to match labor needs with seasonal

changes in volume

• Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely

manner

• Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage

conflict

• Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening

• Great interpersonal skills

• Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-

solving and strategic planning abilities

• Exceptional time management and organization skills

• In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse

• Working knowledge of lean logistics, inventory control, optimization practices, and

shipping

• Physical strength, stamina and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time,

and ability to lift 50lbs.

● Comfortable with the administrative side of logistics, including running reports and

generating shipping quotes.

The work you will do:

Salary: ​This is a full-time exempt, salaried position (40 hours per week).


 Benefits: ​

o Three weeks of paid time off (PTO) a year (equal to 120 hours). At 3 years PTO


increases to a month off (160 hrs). At 5 years increases to five weeks off (200

hrs).
