What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze architectural and engineering designs for compliance with fire codes and standards.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations (where needed) and create comprehensive fire and life safety reports.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and building officials to solve fire protection challenges.
  • Develop fire protection and life safety designs in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Coordinate and witness system testing for fire alarms and fire protection systems.
  • Lead performance-based design solutions using tools like fire and egress modeling.


What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Fire Protection Engineering preferred, but not required).
  • Entry to Senior (e.g. 1+ years) experience in fire protection engineering, code consulting, sprinkler or fire alarm design.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Revit.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage deadlines independently.
  • A passion for solving technical challenges and driving impactful solutions.
  • Passed the FE exam (EIT) is a plus, and a desire to pursue Professional Licensure is encouraged.
