Primary Focus

The Sales Director will meet sales targets, develop and cultivate relationships with clients/customers while building qualified sales pipelines of $6-$10 million which are primarily focused on West Coast Utilities while closing on average of $3-$5 million year in deals. This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.

Responsibilities

  1. Review and approve all business development activities in advance with POC
  2. Develop relationships with target clients and introduce Cayuse leadership
  3. Convey to clients the capabilities and value proposition of Cayuse's services
  4. Generate qualified leads and enter deal parameters in HubSpot
  5. Work with Cayuse leadership to shape deals and progress leads to closure
  6. Participate in weekly 1-hour Sales Pipeline meeting
  7. Work with Cayuse HR and Recruiting for all staffing demand
  8. Work with Cayuse Legal and Compliance on all contracting activities
  9. Provide monthly status report of all business development activities, including:
    1. Meetings setup for Cayuse
    2. Calls made on behalf of Cayuse
    3. Summary of potential opportunities with client contact information
    4. Provide monthly forecast of estimated business development expenses
  10. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10-20 years in Technology Sales & Delivery as a Senior-level Management Consultant and/or an Executive in the Utility Industry
  2. Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
  3. Must possess problem-solving skills.
  4. Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
  5. Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
  7. Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time.
  8. Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature.
  9. Must be a self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team.

Reports to: Senior Managing Director

Working Conditions

  1. Professional remote office environment.
  2. Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties for extended periods of time.
  3. Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
  4. Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
  5. Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.
  6. May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.
  7. May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.
  8. May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours.

USD $190,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.
