Avera McKennan Hospital is seeking highly skilled Registered Nurses to join our team. As a Registered Nurse at Avera McKennan Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-focused environment, delivering high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress, identifying and addressing any changes or concerns.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry advancements.
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Strongly encouraged to complete life-saving education specific to specialty area.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required.
- Certification in specialty encouraged.
- Membership in a professional organization encouraged.
- Competitive hourly rate of $46.50 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth.
