Key Responsibilities:
- Property Management Oversight: Review monthly and quarterly property management reports to ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
- Expense Management: Ensure accurate accrual accounting for tenant-related expenses.
- Portfolio Support: Partner closely with Asset Managers to provide insights and support for assigned portfolios.
- Resource to Third-Party Accountants: Offer guidance on accounting policies, cash collections, budget prep, intercompany accounting, and cash forecasting.
- Due Diligence for Acquisitions: Participate in acquisition due diligence, including preparing closing statements for acquisitions and sales.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (required)
- 3+ years of real estate accounting experience
- Proficiency in fair value GAAP and tax accounting
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
