Business Development Rep

Summary
Responsible for strategic management of the existing accounts and planning and acquiring new accounts for Air Filtration (Koch Filter, Trion, Envirco) within the Hospitality and Healthcare markets.
Functional Requirements:
-Manage / oversee Koch Filter Corporation’s Healthcare and Hospitality GPO customers and contracts
-Management of existing account base, while actively soliciting new business opportunities within the channel.
-Work as functional leader collaborating with Sales Leadership and all Regional Account Managers by providing guidance and pricing structures for all new opportunities
-Work with customer service and production to ensure sales orders are entered and shipped in a timely manner
-Provide Opportunity Pipeline and as well as Account Management Activities in current CRM tool.
-Provide YOY sales reports and forecast to management
-Handle any issues / problems and respond with appropriate action plan while keeping Koch Filter Corporation’s best interest in mind
-Establish rapport and develop solid relationships with key customer contacts.
-Present training sessions to educate customers and prospective customers about Koch filter products.
-Conduct surveys of filters applications in the field to make appropriate recommendations for improvements
-Meet and exceed sales, price, and margin targets.
-Maintain weekly sales and expense reports.
-Must know and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
-Perform these and other comparable related duties as instructed by management.
Other duties may be assigned.
Competencies:
-Successful candidates should have 4-5 years sales experience in the filtration industry with a strong technical background.
-Exposure to HVAC, Healthcare, or Hospitality markets preferred.
-Candidate should have a working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power Point plus CRM software.

Education and/or Experience:
-Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Business Management, Engineering or Marketing from an accredited four-year College or University is preferred.
-4-5 years of successful outside sales and presentation experience required.
Language Skills:
-Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
-The ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Computer Skills:
-To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of computer sales software; Outlook Internet software; CRM software; Pricing software; Microsoft Programs, such as Excel Spreadsheets and Word Processing software.
