What to expect in this role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the design, development, and execution of automated test solutions. Your expertise in test automation frameworks, tools, and methodologies will be instrumental in driving efficiency, scalability, and accuracy in our testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Manual Testing Experience: Experience in different types of testing Functional, Regression, Integration, and System Testing
- API Testing experience using Swagger & Postman
- UI automation experience using Java, Selenium, and TestNG
- Rest API automation experience using Java, Rest Assured, and TestNG
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation
- Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies
- Proficiency in testing web applications and RESTful services
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Qualifications and Tech Proficiency
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience (at least 5 years) in QA automation, including test planning, test design, test script development, and test execution.
- Strong proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools, such as Cypress
- Solid programming skills in languages such as Java with the ability to write efficient and maintainable automation scripts.
- Demonstrated expertise in agile testing methodologies and working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive them to resolution.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work in cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
