Director of Finance Success Profile


The Director of Finance is responsible and accountable for managing the financial health by ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role drives financial operations to align with our culture, mission, values, and goals. The Director of Finance collaborates with other departments, such as Operations and Sales, to optimize financial performance and integrate strategic objectives. Through consistent oversight, strong financial controls, and data-driven insights, the Director of Finance supports our purpose by promoting sustainable growth, transparency, and financial integrity.


Key Responsibilities


  • Ensure consistent and accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes to support company goals and financial stability.
  • Manage financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls to prevent errors and support regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor financial KPIs and metrics, updating leadership on performance relative to budget and goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial operations with strategic priorities.
  • Oversee compliance efforts to ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within financial operations to drive efficiency.
  • Participate in weekly leadership meetings and present relevant financial insights.
  • Provide mentorship to finance team members to foster development and accountability.
  • Deliver on KPI outcomes that align with financial and operational goals (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
