ERSG is currently looking for a Project Assistant for an offshore wind developer based out Boston, MA.


Position Details:

  • Employment Type: Contract (at least 2 years with the opportunity of contract extensions or to become a direct employee).
  • Benefits: We offer health, dental, vision insurance and help contribute to 75% of that monthly cost and offer 401K with a 4% match after 12 months of employment.
  • Geographic Location: Boston, Massachusetts, USA (unfortunately no relocation package is available).
  • Indirect/Direct Reports: 0
  • Line Manager: Resource Cost Controller


Job Summary:

The Project Assistant will be an integral part of the organization by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Project Assistant include providing support to the managers and employees, managing the project’s general administrative activities. The Project Assistant reports to the Resource Cost Controller.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for offshore wind projects.
  • Responsible for the onboarding/offboarding tasks
  • Onboard new team members
  • Interface with IT to coordinate equipment deliveries.
  • Manage calendars and provide support for New England Wind meetings such as: Monthly and Weekly meetings, Workshops and Project Events
  • Support the Project team to create purchase orders in SAP.
  • Project specific and office specific ad hoc needs
  • Set up for the project: Send out reminder emails to team to update the vacation calendar, keep distribution list up to date, coordinate communication, and support team needs.
  • Assist with project reporting by coordinating inputs from team members for weekly and monthly reports for internal projects and corporate use.
  • Support the team in team building events or external events with authorities.
  • Meeting coordination


Job Specifications:

  • Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • SAP knowledge required.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Enthusiasm for Offshore Wind
