Job Description:


The Planning and Analysis (P&A) Manager will lead a team of financial analysts, providing critical insights and analysis that support the organization's financial success. Acting as the key connection between the leadership team and the analysts, the P&A Manager will convert senior management’s vision into clear, actionable plans, leveraging available resources and technology to ensure execution. Key responsibilities include developing and reviewing budgets, forecasts, and performance reports, while ensuring data integrity throughout financial processes by applying strong analytical and technical skills. The P&A Manager is expected to foster a detail-oriented culture, champion operational efficiency, and critically address issues essential to the organization’s growth and success.


Essential Duties

• Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely financial reports and analyses. Provide guidance and support to maintain high-quality outputs.

• Develop and implement best practices for financial reporting and analysis, standardizing processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality across the team.

• Oversee the preparation and consolidation of departmental budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial targets. Provide strategic insights and recommendations as needed.

• Build and maintain comprehensive financial models, scenarios, and projections to support strategic decision-making, utilizing tools such as Anaplan, Excel, SQL, and others.

• Lead the financial analysis in areas such as Gaming, Marketing, Hospitality, and Operations to support and advance the company’s strategic objectives.

• Develop expertise in Anaplan and contribute to the creation and enhancement of dashboard content, ensuring the platform meets evolving business needs.

• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data by conducting regular audits, promptly addressing any discrepancies or issues to maintain data integrity.

• Assist with the monthly P&L reviews across all properties.



Work/Educational Experience:


• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, plus a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role within Financial Planning & Analysis, Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or Development. OR four (4) years of experience in a management position within the same areas

•Advanced Degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Math or related area with a quantitative emphasis, preferred

•At least (6) years of experience conducting detailed statistical or data analysis

•Two (2) years’ work experience in the gaming industry, with knowledge of gaming-specific reporting systems, is preferred.

•Two (2) years’ management level work experience actively supervising direct reports responsible for analysis

•Demonstrated experience communicating to all levels of management in a clear and friendly manner both verbally and through the use of presentation aids (i.e. PowerPoint)

•Extensive knowledge of Excel, Access, and PowerPoint

•Ability to write queries using standard tools to extract data from relational (SQL) databases

•Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methods, with the ability to build models using retrieved data.
