Our client, a makeup brand based in El Segundo, is looking for a Product Development Admin to join their team for a 12 month contract.
Responsibilities:
- Benchmarks/Shade Lineups – select and show benchmarks and shade lineups to management, marketing and cross-functional partners live to ensure there are no color discrepancies that cannot be seen digitally
- Conduct formula and component assessments and send feedback to overseas vendors
- Season, Collab and Product Brainstorms – meet with teams to share/try products live
- Color Matching for every project – multiple iterations during PD process require samples stored in office for comparison then to be shared with management and marketing for approval (shade approval, MPLs, PPAS, etc.)
- Sample Distribution/Presentation + Feedback Collection – Presents projects in person to Brand President and SVP of Marketing
- Manage shipment receiving to and from vendors
- Position may include working with various business partners and internal clients to drive packaging artwork development, conducting artwork status meetings, budget tracking and other artwork management responsibilities
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably Chemistry
- Prior experience with beauty product development is highly desirable
- Strong MS Office Suite skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
