Fonroche Lighting America specializes in off-grid, solar powered street, parking lot, and trail lighting for municipalities, developers, and commercial facilities. Fonroche Lighting America is part of the largest solar lighting entity in the world, Fonroche Lighting, headquartered in France. We are investing in growing our sales team and marketing efforts. Our solutions help customers save money, achieve sustainability goals, and build resilience. 

 

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for our existing customers, sales pipeline and developing the region of Southern California. The position is based out of our hub office in Monterey Park, CA. In your position, you take a lead role in the development and expansion of the marketplace, focusing on municipality sales.

 

Your exceptional communication skills will assist you in developing successful relationships with customers, partners, vendors, contractors, and internal team members. You will continuously evaluate the marketplace and what customers care in efforts towards customer standardization on Fonroche.

 

This sales management position is focused primarily on developing direct business with municipalities. You will go beyond sales management and serve as a client manager, building relationships with your municipality accounts. You will also be the point person for internal/external communications and organization, connecting our clients with our technical staff. 

 

Regional Sales Manager Responsibilities: 

 

  • Identify, develop, and close project opportunities 
  • Build marketplace, prioritizing efforts towards expansion and standardization
  • Maintain CRM for forecasting, collaboration, and reporting
  • Present product capabilities and benefits
  • Explore new go-to-market strategies
  • Become proficient in key principles of solar lighting used for analysis and proposals
  • Meet with customers in person, regularly 

 

Regional Sales Manager Requirements: 

 

  • Any Degree; Personality is key 
  • Successful track record in B2B Sales. 
  • Minimum 2 Year of Business Development Experience 
  • Proficiency in standard computer systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask 
  • Strong listening and sales skills
  • Ability to achieve targets.
