The Opportunity

At Carbon6, we’re transforming the e-commerce landscape with cutting-edge solutions. Our platform empowers businesses to boost profits, reduce costs, and build robust brands. We’re on the hunt for a dynamic and visionary Vice President of Global Marketing to propel our marketing efforts to new heights across global marketing and GTM strategy, performance marketing, and revenue enablement.

As the VP of Global Marketing, you'll be the architect of our marketing strategy, driving brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. Leading a talented marketing team, you’ll collaborate with the executive suite to ensure our marketing initiatives align seamlessly with our business objectives.

Your Impact

  • Global Marketing and GTM: Develop and implement a comprehensive global marketing strategy aligned with business objectives. Identify market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to inform Go-to-market plans. Set clear goals and KPIs for the marketing team and track performance across each department to align with strategic company rocks.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that is cross-functionally aligned with GTM, product, finance, and operations teams. Work with the Head of People and the EVP of GTM to provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Brand Management: Enhance brand positioning and messaging to differentiate our offerings in the global market. Oversee the creation of compelling and consistent brand content across all channels. Manage brand reputation and ensure brand integrity by partnering with the Director of Marketing, Executive team, and the industry community.
  • Performance Marketing & Demand Generation: Drive lead generation strategies to support sales growth. Build and operationalize the performance marketing flywheel with the operations team. Optimize digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, email, and paid media. Develop and manage outbound marketing campaigns to attract and convert prospects.
  • Market Research and Analytics: Conduct market research to identify opportunities and threats with your Director of Marketing and product marketing lead. Analyze marketing performance data and adjust strategies accordingly. Provide regular reports and insights to the CRO.
  • Customer Engagement and Retention: Implement strategies to improve customer engagement and satisfaction with our internal product, enablement, customer success, and partnerships teams. Develop customer loyalty programs and advocacy initiatives with the head of customer success. Utilize customer feedback to refine marketing strategies and build on our customer-proof points.
  • Partnerships and Events: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with industry influencers and organizations by collaborating with the partnership and revenue teams. Work with the current teams and execute industry events, webinars, and conferences to promote our brand. Manage sponsorships and speaking opportunities.

Your Qualifications

  • Proven Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. With over a decade of marketing experience in the SaaS or technology sectors, you’ve honed your skills in fast-paced, innovative environments. Your career includes at least 2-5 years in senior leadership roles, where you've led transformative initiatives and driven substantial growth.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in developing and executing impactful marketing strategies. You have a history of achieving ambitious goals, increasing market share, and driving revenue growth through innovative marketing approaches.
  • Business Acumen: Deep expertise in digital marketing, lead generation, and customer lifecycle management. You understand the intricacies of the digital landscape and can seamlessly integrate various marketing channels to create cohesive, effective campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
  • Experienced Leader: Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of inspiring and managing high-performing teams. Your communication abilities, both verbal and written, are top-notch, enabling you to effectively convey complex ideas and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Data Analysis: Proficient in analyzing data to derive actionable insights. You leverage data to inform your decisions, optimize campaigns, and demonstrate the impact of marketing initiatives on business outcomes.
  • Innovative Mindset: High emotional intelligence, problem-solving capabilities, and a passion for innovation. You thrive on creative thinking and continuous improvement, always seeking new ways to enhance marketing strategies and achieve outstanding results.
