Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Food Service Sales to lead our sales efforts in the food service/ retail deli and B&I sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales with a hunter mindset, a passion for organic and sustainable food, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth with existing relationships in the retail natural/specialty channel as well as B&I deli relationships. This role will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with new clients. Will gain new business accounts with our existing portfolio of organic soups, IQF vegetable sides, proteins and bulk salad dressings.


Key Responsibilities:

- **Sales Strategy Development:** Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and build market share in the food service sector.

- **Client Relationship Management:** Build and maintain strong relationships targeting food service/ retail deli and B&I sector. 

- **Market Analysis:** Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape.

- **Product Promotion:** Promote our range of food products to potential and existing clients, highlighting the benefits and unique selling points.

- **Sales Reporting:** Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

- **Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.


**Qualifications:

- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

- **Experience:** Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience in the food service industry, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role preferred.

- **Knowledge:** Deep understanding of the organic/ natural food market and food service industry.

Relationships - existing relationships in the retail natural/specialty channel as well as B&I deli relationships preferred

- **Skills:**

- Entrepreneurial sales hunter

 - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

 - Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
