HR Manager
We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR functions, including associate relations, employee development, talent management, benefits, and payroll. This role will collaborate with leaders to support team members, ensure compliance with regulations, and leverage data for strategic decisions. The HR Manager will be responsible for delivering effective HR strategies, improving KPIs, strengthening employer branding, refining policies, conducting exit interviews, and supporting department managers. This leader will also utilize HR technology to drive results and guide a team dedicated to the organization’s growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Associate Relations & Development: Maintain strong associate relations and lead initiatives for organizational and employee development. Act as a trusted advisor to all HR areas, providing exceptional services to recruit, develop, and retain top talent.
- Talent Management & Employer Branding: Collaborate with department managers to build trust and assist in personnel matters, continuously improving recruitment KPIs (e.g., retention rates, time-to-fill) and enhancing employer branding.
- Events Management: Plan and manage company events, such as benefits fairs, insurance meetings, and open enrollment sessions.
Leadership
- Mentor, coach, and develop a team of HR professionals, preparing team members for future succession. Collaborate with leaders to empower team members to take ownership of their work and achieve departmental objectives.
Policy & Procedure Improvement
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to personnel policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Communicate policy updates, administer HR processes, and ensure compliance in hiring, training, and onboarding programs.
HR Technology & Data Management
- Leverage HR technology tools to manage teams, extract data insights, and inform strategic decisions. Share data and analysis with department leaders, conduct exit interviews to identify turnover trends, and implement data-driven recommendations for retention improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
- PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SCP certifications are preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years in HR experience, including AR experience, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills with a tactical and strategic mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with adopting new technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with an emphasis on relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing tasks in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
- Demonstrates integrity, self-motivation, and independent judgment in accomplishing goals.
- Ability to handle change with composure and work effectively under pressure.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles and practices, with the ability to interpret business literature, technical procedures, and regulations accurately.
