Medical Equipment Clinician Join Avera's Team as a Medical Equipment Clinician

Award-winning healthcare organization Avera is seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Clinician to join our team. As a Medical Equipment Clinician, you will play a vital role in directing clinical planning, application, and follow-up of medical equipment and supplies for individuals.

Job Summary:
  • Direct clinical planning, application, and follow-up of medical equipment and supplies for individuals.
  • Complete patient records, conduct home visits, and coordinate care with other providers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • One to two years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT), Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
  • Licensure or Certification in the State of South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, and Minnesota required depending on service areas.
  • Registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required for Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician.
  • Valid driver's license and insurability by Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier required.
Work Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, occasional weekend/holiday/call, 80 hours/2 weeks.
Compensation:
  • The hourly range for this position is $31.75 per hour, dependent on experience.
