About the Role

Avera@Home Home Medical Equipment Mitchell is seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Clinician to join our team. As a Medical Equipment Clinician, you will be responsible for directing clinical planning, application, and follow-up of medical equipment and supplies for individuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directs clinical planning, application, and follow-up of medical equipment and supplies for individuals.
  • Completes patient records, home visits, and coordinates care with other providers.
  • Develops relationships with clients and their families while providing education and companionship.
  • Collaborates with Avera and non-Avera healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Works with other Avera ATPs to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • One to two years related experience and/or training.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT), Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
  • Licensure or Certification in the State of South Dakota is required.
  • Licensure or Certification in the State of Iowa, Nebraska, and Minnesota is required depending on service areas.
  • Registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) if a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician is required or within 6 months of hire date.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.
Work Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm occasional weekend/holiday/call; 80hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$31.75 per hour
