Diptyque is looking for a Director of Integrated Communications to increase Diptyque’s brand awareness and growth in the Americas. The ideal candidate has their finger on the pulse of luxury and art, as well as a keen ability to tap into culture and the publications and influencers who contribute to these worlds to expand and enhance Diptyque’s brand positioning.


The Director of Integrated Communications will lead brand awareness efforts that carry across the strategic communications channels of the business in partnership with local and global teams. You’ll also ideate and drive brand initiatives that target a range of audiences, inclusive of media, influencer, and customers. Expertise and curiosity across a range of topics including design, fashion, arts, beauty, home decoration, business, and social enterprise are a plus.

You’ll join a nimble Marketing team focused on driving brand awareness, purchase consideration, conversion and customer loyalty.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and lead communications strategies that raise the profile of Diptyque’s business, product, team, innovations, sustainability initiatives, and more, across new and existing market segments
  • Ideate creative, out-of-the-box storytelling opportunities and experiential brand moments that fuel brand awareness and affinity, considering key media, influencer, and customer touchpoints
  • Lead the activation of communications launch plans, influencer activations, key collaborations/partnerships and events as part of the cross-functional marketing team, in partnership with our Paris headquarters
  • Lead our strategic communications agency in strategic planning and day-to-day activation
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with press, influencers and stylists to stay connected to the cultural landscape and constantly assess where and how Diptyque can be weaved into it
  • Oversee quarterly in-person media and influencer events, bringing the Diptyque brand to life in creative, engaging and unexpected ways
  • Partner on public-facing thought-leadership opportunities that feature Diptyque experts and spokespeople
  • Partner with Retail Marketing counterparts to lead store opening communications planning and eventing
  • Work closely with the broader Americas team, manage a comprehensive marketing calendar informed by Diptyque’s business objectives and strategies
  • Elevate and enhance Diptyque’s public relations efforts by streamlining processes while preparing consistent, robust analysis in partnership with our strategic communications agency, drawing insights and learnings, and proposing ideas
  • Develop and manage Diptyque’s annual PR and influencer strategy and budget
  • Embody Diptyque’s core values
